How to Fix a Broken Nail

I have been growing my nails for a while and I was so pleased with the progress, then came the fateful afternoon, it started raining and I was rushing to get out of the rain and I grabbed the car door handle and my nail cracked, my heart sank and I literally wanted to cry, standing in the rain looking at my cracked nail I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes.  I knew the only solution was to cut all of them and start again.  I wrapped my finger in a plaster and considered my options, I could get acrylic or gel on the nail that would hold it together but I didn't want to go back to that, so I went on to the "google machine" and I was surprised at the various options.
Teabag Method

What you will need
1 Teabag
Base Coat
Nail Polish Remover

Method

1. Remove nail polish from your nail and make sure your nail is clean
2. Empty the contents of the teabag and cut a section of the teabag to cover your whole nail
3. Apply the base coat on to your nail and wait for it dry just for a few seconds it must be tacky
4. Place the cut section of the teabag over your nail and use your fingernails to make sure you have pressed it down and there are no bubbles
5. Once is is dry paint another coat of the base coat of over the teabag on your nail and then wait for it to completely dry before you trim and file into place
6. Proceed with the rest of you manicure

Yes it is that simple!

Have you ever had a broken nail what did you use to "keep it together" Have you experimented with nail art?
