Urban Zulu.........setting the Standard

a salon with a difference launched last night and I had the pleasure of being there........Urban Zulu Natural Beauty is not your ordinary run of the mill type of salon.....they are definitely setting new standards and they are the first salon I have being in to feature only locally produced hair and beauty products (WOW they have balls)..........their prices are fair and they are offering most importantly great hair-care solutions to people with natural hair......they are not only catering for naturals with dreadlocks but naturals like me who love their kinks and curls......





Walking through the salon I did not see a single relaxer or tongs which means there will be no sulfur smell in the air from burning hair.....the stylist show-cased some inspirational hairstyles so not only will your hair feel amazing it will also be styled..........the salon will be using and selling products from  +Afro Amour , Earth, +Nubian Nature  and Urban Zulu, all products are 100% natural and will not harm or damage your skin and hair............yes they have a Spa too where you can get facials, massages, waxes all using natural  products.........

My Thoughts
this is an absolutely BRILLIANT concept........FINALLY we have a salon where sisters and brothers with natural hair can relax knowing that our hair will be taken care of properly.......where we won't be offered relaxer's, braids and dreadlocks........this is a space I can go to knowing that I won't be asked "Mara why are you doing this to your self why don't you just relax your hair it will look better" (arghhhhh)........I can't wait to go and have my first salon treatment at Urban Zulu Natural Beauty!!!
