Afro Botanics.........

Afro Botanics gave me all  of their products to review when I attended the Azania Unlimited Hair Brunch a couple of weeks ago.


These products have left me speechless and if you know me at all you will know that it is impossible for me not to have an opinion about anything!   I have being using the Afro Botanics' full product range for the past 8 days and I have gone through quite a few emotions the first one being absolute disbelief.  I could not believe just how good these products were from the Shampoo to the Moisturizer, seriously I buy and use a lot of hair products and out of a range of products I might just like ONE or none as the products might not agree with my  hair but I have to say ALL of the Afro Botanics products are AMAZE-BOMB on my hair let me start with the first product I used.

 I had my hair in a wash and go after the brunch and I have to say it was a pretty good wash and go and I really really wished it could stay like that but I have 4B-C hair and unfortunately I cannot carry off a wash and go past 1 day so in the evening I decided to use the Afro Botanics Conditioning Moisturiser as a styler to twist my hair into 12 loose twist. I wanted to rock a twist-out the next day I spritzed my hair with a little bit of water so I could work with it and then I applied a small amount of the moisturiser to each section of my hair, this product  is very thick and creamy and it smells good, I didn't want to disturb my existing curls too much  so I concentrated the cream mainly at the ends of my hair to get rid of that gel "crunch". The next morning I unraveled my twists and I was pretty impressed not only was my hair soft but my curls were pretty defined and my hair was bouncy this is when the doubt set in I thought,  it might not be the moisturiser as I had sprayed water and my hair was already curly I said to myself I  have to use the moisturiser without other products to see if it really worked I managed to keep that twist-out for 2 days.

On the Monday evening I decided to try the Afro Botanic Repairing Shampoo I was a bit weary of shampooing my hair as shampoos and I don't agree on certain things, I sectioned my hair and put a small pea size amount of the shampoo in my hand and then worked into my scalp (side note you only need a pea size amount) this shampoo lathers lot,  I worked the shampoo into my scalp and then into my hair and then rinsed it off with cool water. I was not ready for what happened next my hair was SOFT really SOFT my curls were popping.

The Afro Botanics Deep Penetrating Moisturising Conditioner doesn't have a lot of slip so I started to doubt it would work at all  as I had to spray a bit of water to work it into my hair I applied it from root to tip and then put a shower cap on my hair to deep condition for an hour.  I rinsed my hair with cool water and I immediately felt my hair was extremely SOFT it felt really nice to touch my curls were even more defined I was speechless I decided to use the LCO method and use the Moisturiser  and +Natural Sisters shea butter mix to seal and I threaded my hair to stretch it when I took the threading down my hair was super super soft

 I then included the Afro Botanics Super Hair Growth Creme  into my regime every other night I put the cream on to my hair line and the rest of my scalp and massage,  it's  still early days with this one but i will keep you posted it does smell really good as well and it keeps my edges down without the gel.

THE AFRO BOTANICS REPAIRING & STRENGTHENING TREATEMENT is the BEST  protein deep conditioner I HAVE EVER USED on my hair I cannot even begin to describe how my hair felt, first thing I noticed was my hair was fuller it basically held more moisture, it was soft my curls were popping, my hair looked healthier, my hair was shiner before I applied any oils to it and felt really good. I did the LCO method again with moisturizer and +Natural Sisters  shea butter mix and threaded my hair when my hair dried it was soft, bouncy and shiny.

What do I think
I am speechless at the quality of these products my hair certainly loved all the products from Afro Botanics I cannot find fault in any of them my post cannot do justice to any of these products you have to try them yourselves. If you have dry brittle hair that is in need of some TLC use these products, if you have colour treated hair which looks lifeless use these products if you have healthy hair and are looking for affordable products that will take your hair to that next level USE these products all I can say to Afro Botanics is WELL DONE!!!!!! on these excellent products they have certainly replaced my favorite conditioner and I have found yet another excellent local moisturiser
