Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW (R455)
I like this foundation as a little goes a long way, it comes in tube with a pump so there is also no wastage and it minimizes contact with any form of bacteria. This foundation oxides well - which basically means when in contact with the air the color gets deeper - I have yellow undertones and this foundation works well to compliment that, most foundations made for women of color I find have too much red in them and don't work so well with my skin tone so I always end up looking a bit "orange". This foundation offers light to medium coverage and it is "buildable" - a fancy way of saying you can add more than one layer until you get the coverage you need - I did get a shade that is a slightly light on my skin but by the time I have finished all my makeup it has oxidized. I LOVE the texture of this foundation, it is very light, it is an easy application it just glides on to the skin. It has a "dewy" finish to the skin so I look fresh and glowing I am not a fan of the matte look. My only gripe with this foundation is that there isn't shades for darker skin tones, it would be nice if we got in deeper colors as this foundation would work very well on oily skin types as it is oil free. Overall I would give this foundation 4/5 and it is definitely a keeper for me. Porefessional (R395)
WOW is all I have to say about this primer, I absolutely love it. I have very large pores which are highlighted even more by wearing any type of foundation they just seem to get bigger I have tried a lot of "pore minimizers" and "blur primers" but nothing comes close to this. The Porefessional can be worn alone or under makeup and it does such a nifty job of filling the pores in it makes your makeup application absolutely seamless and you look "flawless". When worn alone it makes you skin look smoother and almost like you have put a little bit of powder in you shade. Since I bought this I never leave the house without it, like I was told by Ramon at the Benefits Counter this to me is definitely "COMPLEXION PERFECTION IN A TUBE". This gets a 5/5 from me and I think if you have large pores and like to wear makeup or even like to have the no makeup look this should definitely become a staple.License to Blot (R395)
I have to admit after I bought this product I had a bit of buyers remorse, I thought it was a bit too expensive and I reverted back to my Essence Blotting paper, then I ran out of blotting paper and I was at an event that went on and on (you know those things that you didn't want to go to in the first place that never end) well I need to touch up my makeup as I really looked like I had been swimming in fish oil, so I went off and used the license to blot and I must say I quite liked it. My makeup looked refreshed and took away all the shine especially from my T-Zone. I didn't need to reapply again until I left the event so I kind of changed my mind on this one and it goes everywhere I go now. It even works without make-up. I will give this one a 3.5/5 I still think its a bit pricey. These are the products I bought and enjoyed from Benefits and I cannot wait to try their other products. On my radar is currently the Brow Zings I got to try at the counter but I didnt buy it (my husband was the cameraman and he raised his eyebrow at me) I got a small sample size of their mascara "They're Real" and it gives my lashes "life" including my bottom lashes it elongates my eye lashes opens up my eyes, I am also looking into getting some of their highlighters I have read some great reviews about them.
I really enjoyed my time at the Benefits counter and I find that they makeup is of a high quality and I will definitely be buying more of their products. Have you tried Benefits Cosmetics? What are your favorite products? What do you think of their packaging?
