It’s Valentine’s Day! If you celebrate it ENJOY! If you don’t
but would like to spoil yourself. Then checkout this WOC (women of colour)
Friendly makeup.
I got introduced to the brand last year at a media event, I
have since bought more items to add to my growing collection of Black Radiance
products. The products are superb quality, highly pigmented and they apply on to the skin very smoothly.
Contour Palette
I am completely obsessed with the Contour Palette I use the Light to Medium shade. It's easy to use
especially for beginners as it tells you where to place the products. This has
become my go to contour and bronzing palette.
Concealers
Another favourite of mine is the Custom Concealer and I use
the Light to Medium shade. The concealers blend easily with my fingers, the corrector shade is a peachy
shade it corrects my hyper pigmentation perfectly without making me
orange. This helps my foundation look flawless especially when I am taking
pictures or going to events.
Lipsticks
There is a wide range of vibrant and subtle colours
available I have a couple of the lipsticks they are very creamy and highly
pigmented. The lipsticks last me a while before I reapply and they do not dry
out my lips
Eyeshadow Palettes
These are a dream they have them available in 8 pan or 3 pan
palettes. They are highly pigmented and have a creamy consistency to them. The shimmery
shadows can also be spritzed with water or makeup spray to make the colours
more vibrant and more shimmery for evening looks. I have the On Point (8773) 3 Pan shadow palette which
is perfect for easy everyday looks.
Foundations
Unfortunately, the range of foundations available in stores
have too much red pigment, I have a yellow undertone, so when the foundation
oxides I look orange. The formula however, offers full coverage and it applies very
easily with a sponge or a brush.
Black Radiance is WOC friendly and the products I have featured here are just a few of the products available and the ones I have tried. There is a wide range products ranging from lip-glosses, eyeliners, primers, to pressed powders. Products are available at select Dischem stores and shades will vary from
store to store. So, go ahead and spoil
yourself this weekend with some pretty awesome makeup.
