Argan Smooth......

Last year I received the Argan Smooth Range to try out, I will admit I was skeptical and did not want any of the products near my hair, but I convinced myself I would try them for 3 weeks and if my hair fell off; well I would then write a very ANGRY Blog post about yet another "rubbish" imported product. Alas, the angry blog post was not to be. Blogging has afforded me amazing opportunities to try out new products some are an absolute DISASTER and then you get some like the Argan Smooth Range that totally BLOW you away.

The Argan Smooth Range was developed for the Naturals who like to wear their hair straight, naturals who heat treat their hair regularly through "silk pressing". The Argan Smooth range actually has a silk press system which I have used and will "gush" about in another blog post. It therefore makes sense that these products were designed to infuse maximum hydration, strength, and conditioning agents into the hair to protect the delicate strands from heat damage. 

Argan Smooth Epic Moisture Shampoo
My hair felt like butter whilst using this shampoo, it has a glorious smell and it feels as if you are actually washing your hair with a really light conditioner rather than a shampoo. The shampoo contains a blend of Argan Oil, EVOO, and Shea Butter amongst other ingredients. My hair was clean but it was incredibly soft and smooth, it actually felt like I had put a leave-in conditioner in my hair. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone that likes to shampoo their hair regularly, it will infuse moisture into your hair and you will not need to use a rinse out conditioner, but rather follow with a leave-in conditioner and style. 

Argan Smooth Strengthening Miracle Hair Masque 

I simply cannot put into words how this masque makes me feel. The first time I used this conditioner I kept it on my hair for 30 minutes with my heat-cap, when I rinsed it out my hair was incredibly soft, smooth and MOISTURIZED. This product contains Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, EVOO, Quinoa, Wheat Protein, Shea Butter and many more other ingredients it is excellent as a treatment for dry brittle hair, or hair that has been over processed it helps restore hair's vibrancy and elasticity. This product can be used as a co-wash, a rinse out conditioner or  a deep conditioner.  If you are struggling with dry hair that breaks and nothing seems to help try this product you will be blown away and it works instantly you don't have to use 20 million times before you see results.  

Argan Smooth Corrective Leave-in Conditioner 
This leave-in conditioner is the leave-in conditioner that "RULES ALL LEAVE-IN CONDITIONERS" never have I used a leave in conditioner that is so light, non greasy and absorbs into the hair whether wet or dry so quickly. It does not have to be sealed with an oil as it leaves a healthy shine to your hair and when you touch your hair there is none of that oily residual that is so commonly found with most leave-in conditioners made in Mzansi. I would recommend this for anyone who has extremely dry hair and is looking for a leaving conditioner that will soften and hydrate the hair. 




Argan Smooth Silkening & Smoothing Drops 
This product looks like an oil BUT it doesn't behave like an oil.  It is a heat protectant and has frizz control.  This product can be used just before you heat style your hair, to unravel twists, braid-outs it will not leave an oily residue on your hair at all it absorbs quickly into your hair strands whilst softening as well as add shine. I would recommend this product to the ladies that heat style their hair regularly.  

Argan Smooth - Smooth and Straight Edges
I have always sworn by Eco Styler Gel to "lay my edges"  as it did not  leave nasty white specks on my hair, my issue with Eco Styler Gel though was that it made my hair "STIFF".  Enter the AS Smooth and Straight Edges, this is one product I didn't even want to try but when I did I was totally blown away, not only did it smooth my edges my hair was not stiff but soft there was no white residual and I FINALLY got the "baby hairs" I see on You Tube.  I recommend this product to anyone who likes the sleek look, wears a lot of ponytails, sleek up-do's and if you want to get those "baby hairs".  
The Break-UP 
Its nothing personal and it's not the products its me.  My hair goes through a lot in general I am constantly testing out new products some are not so great and my hair has been struggling in the last 6 months. Also, I recently started travelling a lot into Southern Africa and the climate in some of these places is so dry,  I have been struggling to maintain moisture levels in my hair.  The Argan Smooth products have worked together on my hair to infuse the maximum amount of moisture, making it incredibly soft, without too much fuss.  I can now literally just WASH and GO they work quickly, are easy to use and none of them leave my hair feeling greasy.

The Argan Smooth range is made by The House of Cheatham they are the same company that brings us the Aunt Jackie's Range and I have used that whole range including the Flaxseed Gel and the new Quench Conditioner which is AMA-ZING by the way. In my opinion they have definitely got it right with these products and I dont feel at the moment there is any local products that can compete with Argan Smooth.  I believe the products are reasonably priced for imported products and for me the fact that they actually WORK so well with our climate and our hair type is simply AMAZING.
